Workshop Overview


This workshop introduces the principles of Thai energy lines (Sen lines) combined with Tok Sen therapy using solid bamboo tools. Participants will learn how rhythmic bamboo tapping can stimulate energy flow, release deep tension, enhance lymphatic circulation, and support the stimulation and rebalancing of the nervous system—promoting overall balance throughout the entire body.

Learning Objectives


By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand the concept of Thai energy lines (Sen)

• Identify key Sen lines used in Tok Sen therapy

• Safely and effectively use solid bamboo tools for Tok Sen massage

• Apply Tok Sen techniques along major energy lines, muscles, lymphatic areas, and nerve pathways in an appropriate and safe manner

• Integrate Tok Sen therapy into a complete therapeutic bodywork session



Workshop Structure


Module 1: Introduction to Energy Lines & Tok Sen

• Philosophy of traditional Thai healing

• Overview of Sen energy lines, their functions, and understanding the root causes of various health issues

• History and purpose of Tok Sen therapy, shared through Dr. Bai’s life experience as the originator of this Tok Sen approach

• Differences between hand-based massage and bamboo Tok Sen, including comparison with other tools



Module 2: Tok Sen Tools & Safety

• Types of solid bamboo Tok Sen tools and how to select tools that suit individual practitioners

• Proper handling, grip, posture, and body mechanics

• Rhythm, pressure control, and tapping angles

• Contraindications and safety precautions

• Appropriate body zones for Tok Sen application, including receiver positioning and therapist ergonomics


Module 3: Major Energy Lines for Tok Sen

• Introduction to primary Sen lines commonly used in traditional Thai massage and Tok Sen therapy

• Direction of energy flow and therapeutic intention

• Practical mapping of Sen lines on the body

• Effects of Tok Sen vibration on fascia, muscles, nerves, lymphatic circulation, and energy flow


Module 4: Practical Tok Sen Techniques

• Fundamental Tok Sen tapping techniques

• Rhythm control: gentle, moderate, and deeper stimulation

• Pressure adjustment using solid bamboo tools

• Transition techniques along Sen lines and related systems

• Combining meditative awareness with Tok Sen rhythm



Module 5: Body Area Applications

• Spinal adjustment techniques and spinal Sen lines

• External arm and external leg energy lines, including the back of the hands

• Internal leg energy lines and the soles of the feet

• Chest area, internal arms, and palms

• Fascia work (optional advanced section)

• Neck and shoulders, face, and head

• Abdominal energy lines, lymphatic flow, and warming techniques


Note: All applications and directions will be adapted according to individual health conditions and needs.



Module 6: Therapeutic Integration

• Structuring a complete Tok Sen therapy session

• Combining Tok Sen with traditional Thai massage

• Reading tissue response and energetic feedback

• Customizing treatments based on client conditions

• Case studies and practical discussion



Module 7: Practice & Assessment

• Guided hands-on practice

• Supervised partner work

• Technique refinement and individual corrections

• Q&A and troubleshooting

• 3 days Energy Lines (15–17 February)

• 3 days Tok Sen (18–20 February)

• Method: Theory, demonstration, and hands-on practice

• Level: Beginner in Tok Sen to intermediate

(Previous bodywork experience required)

Learning & Self-Healing Journey on Koh Mak Noi

Tour Overview

We will travel from Krabi Town to spend 7 days learning massage and living on a small, peaceful island called Koh Mak Noi, surrounded by nature, local wisdom, and quiet simplicity.

Program Itinerary

April 14 – Arrival & Island Journey

Pickup will be provided from Krabi International Airport or the public bus station.

If there is waiting time between arrivals, participants may choose to join the Songkran Festival before departing by boat.


We will then travel by traditional boat to Koh Mak Noi, enjoying scenic views through Phang Nga Bay, renowned for its dramatic limestone cliffs, mangrove forests, and serene seascapes.


April 15–20 – Massage Training & Island Living

Massage training takes place daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.


Alongside the training, participants will experience island living, with daily opportunities to connect with the local community and participate in simple traditional activities such as fishing and daily island practices. This rhythm of shared living eliminating distractions allows for deeper cultural connection, presence, and immersion in nature.


February 21 – Island Exploration Day

A full-day island-hopping journey around Phang Nga Bay, exploring magnificent island scenery and spending time on quiet, untouched beaches of smaller surrounding islands.


February 22 – Return & Nature Visit

Return by boat to the mainland, arriving back in Krabi.

Depending on individual travel schedules, we will visit remarkable natural sites such as saline hot spring pools, before participants continue their onward journeys.



Where Is Koh Mak Noi & What Is It Like?


Nestled within the serene waters of Phang Nga Bay, Koh Mak Noi is a hidden island sanctuary located in Koh Panyee Subdistrict, Mueang Phang Nga District. The island is home to a long-established Muslim community, where life unfolds at an unhurried pace, grounded in simplicity, authenticity, and natural grace.


Surrounded by lush mangrove forests and gentle sea views, quiet concrete paths connect the entire island—inviting mindful walks and moments of stillness. Free from large-scale tourism, Koh Mak Noi offers a rare sense of privacy, silence, and cultural depth.


Access is by traditional long-tail boat from Laem Sak Pier or Bang Pat Pier, with a calm journey of approximately 15–30 minutes across the bay.

Meals

Three meals per day are provided, featuring local Thai cuisine based on fresh daily seafood.

For vegetarian diets, please inform us in advance. Due to limited vegetable availability on the island, variety may be restricted, so we recommend bringing personal specialty ingredients if needed.


All participants will cook together, and meals also serve as a practical cooking class, integrating Traditional Thai Medicine principles and the philosophy of food as medicine.

Please note that there are no motorbikes or taxi services on the island. However, the local community is exceptionally friendly and supportive—once they know you are part of our group, you will be warmly looked after.
